Meet Our Board of Directors

Mr. Wale Tinubu
Group CEO, Oando Plc.
Non-Executive Director, Ocean and Oil Holdings Limited

Mr. Tinubu is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Oando PLC, a position he assumed after a successful stint as the Executive Director, Finance and Administration of the company from July 2000 to June 2001.

Mr. Tinubu started his career with the family's law firm, K.O. Tinubu where he worked on corporate and petroleum law assignments. In 1994, he co- founded the Ocean and Oil Group and guided its strategic development leading to the acquisition of Unipetrol during the Federal Government of Nigeria's privatization exercise in 2000. In 2002, Mr. Tinubu also led the largest ever acquisition of a quoted Nigerian company, with the acquisition of Agip by Unipetrol through an international bid conducted by Agip Petroli International B.V.

Mr. Tinubu is a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria, Nigerian Bar Association and sits on the board of several blue-chip companies as Chairman or Director.

He earned a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the University of Liverpool, England in 1988 and a Master of Law degree (LLM) from the London School of Economics, England, in 1989 where he specialized in International Finance and Shipping.

Mr. Omamofe Boyo

Mr. Boyo is the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of the Oando Group. Prior to this, Mr. Boyo doubled as the Executive Director, Oando Marketing Limited and CEO of Oando Supply and Trading Limited.

Mr. Boyo started his career with Chief Rotimi Williams' Chambers, a leading Nigerian law firm, where he specialized in shipping and oil services and worked on several joint venture transactions between the NNPC and major international oil companies. He was also a member of the team that represented the refineries in the NNPC judicial enquiry. He joined the Ocean and Oil Group in 1994, where he developed and managed the operations department before his appointment in July 2001 as Executive Director, Oando PLC.

Mr. Boyo has a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Kings College, University of London, England (1989). He is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. He serves on the board of several companies which include Gaslink Nigeria Ltd, Oando Togo, Oando Ghana, West African Refinery Company, (WARCO) Sierra Leone, Stallion Properties, Ocean and Oil Services, Indunmines Ltd, Quantum Voice Systems Ltd, I2I Nigeria Ltd. and Lagos Preparatory School Ltd.

Lanre Osinoiki
Group CEO, Ocean & Oil Holdings

Lanre joined Ocean & Oil Holdings in 2006 and presently serves on the Board of the Company as Chief Executive Officer.

With over 14 years of experience in Finance and Operations, Lanre has been actively involved in the creation and restructuring of some of Ocean & Oil Holdings' present subsidiaries.

Lanre holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Master of Science degree in Finance from the City University of London, CASS Business School, United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
